COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
In-person worship services will resume at Vine Street Baptist Church while following these COVID-19 safety and prevention guidelines:
Entering
Only our front entrance will be used on Sunday mornings. The back entrance may be used only by seniors, or those with physical disabilities, to use the elevator. Each entrance will be monitored by our Welcome Team, who will distribute hand sanitizer and temperature check all those entering using a touch-less thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or above will be asked to leave the premises and join us online instead.
Masks
We require masks to be worn at all times inside the church building. All are encouraged to bring their own mask and masks will also be provided at each entrance. Anyone who refuses to wear a mask will be asked to leave the premises and join us online instead. Service leaders may temporarily remove masks while speaking, provided they are distanced at least 6 feet from all others.
Seating
Sanctuary seating capacity is at 50%, with alternating half-sections of pews designated, for appropriate distancing. We recommend families and close contacts to sit together as able. If the Sanctuary is full, distanced overflow seating is available in the Fellowship Hall where the service will be live video streamed.
Online
During this time we have increased our online presence. All of our worship services will be streamed on Facebook live at facebook.com/vinestreetbaptist. All other in-person gatherings have been limited or moved to an online platform. Discipleship Groups, Youth Group, and various members meetings will occur on Zoom video conferencing.
We recognize the challenges of these hard times. Through these guidelines we desire to be faithful in keeping each other safe, protecting the vulnerable, and loving our neighbors.
