November 19, 2017 Morning Worship
After a night of blustery winds and dropping temperatures, many members and guests of Vine Street Baptist bundled up and headed off for a time to gather together and learn from scripture.
The service began when Justin Francis read Psalm 126 and said a prayer. Helping lead the worship singing today was Mattie Perez. She played guitar and sang 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) while everyone stood and sang along.
After a time of fellowship, where everyone greeted one another with a handshake and warm greetings, Justin gave a few announcements, then said a pastoral prayer.
- Person of Jesus study tonight at 6:00pm
- Wednesday night activities suspended this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday
Mattie introduced a new song to the congregation, and together everyone continued singing in worship.
- I Will Follow
- Be Unto Your Name
- Nothing But the Blood
