April 2, 2017 Morning Worship
Vine Street Baptist Church started the month of April by playing new background music before the service began. The music is from Church Songs by Benjamin Brainard of Immanuel Baptist Church.
The service began with Deacon Gary Cook reading Isaiah 2:1-5 and saying a prayer. Associate Pastor of Worship Jacob Hatcher led the gathered in songs.

A time was given to welcome guests and members alike, then Associate Pastor or Youth & Families Brandon Saunders presented several announcements

- Tonight in the Fellowship Hall is Souper Sunday
- Neighborhood Party on April 12
- Youth Camp this summer, and fundraising opportunity with this event
After a pastoral prayer, the deacons collected the offering and the congregation sang some more.

Member Alan Johns read today’s sermon scripture passage, then Senior Pastor Spencer Harmon delivered today’s message.
