August 27, 2017 Morning Worship

Today’s service opened with a reading of Psalm 1 by Deacon Donnie Aebersold, who then said prayer. Worship Leaders Jacob and Jaime Hatcher led the gathered in song.

Jacob welcomed everyone and encouraged them to greet one another in a time of  fellowship.  Associate Pastor Brandon Saunders continued the service by giving a few announcements.

• Tonight continues a Bible study called The Person Of Jesus.
• Women’s Bible study meets on Tuesday evening.
• Men’s Bible study meets on Friday morning this week.

Brandon said a pastoral prayer, then the ushers collected the offering.  Jacob led the congregation in more singing.

Josh Bertsch read today’s sermon text, then Senior Pastor Spencer Harmon came to the platform to deliver today’s message.

After the sermon, the congregation stood and sang O, For a Thousand Tongues to Sing during a time of reflection. Spencer closed the service with an invitation for anyone to speak to a pastor after the service about church membership, becoming a Christian, or to discuss today’s sermon. Spencer read the benediction then dismissed the group.
