January 17, 2016 Morning Worship
After a few days of mist and rain, the sun shone bright on another gorgeous Sunday, where members and guests gathered to worship.
The service began with Mickie Bainter reading Psalm 100, and saying a prayer. Jacob and Jaime Hatch led the congregation in song:
- Love Comes Down
- Nothing but the Blood
A few minutes was spent in fellowship, with handshakes and hugs all around. To bring everyone back together again, Associate Pastor Ken Lovett presented the announcements and said a pastoral prayer.
- Timothy sermon series continues today
- Shape Note Singing this afternoon in the Fellowship Hall
- Baby Dedication Service next weekend
- Logo jacket order soon being placed
- Pastoral concerns
The Hatchers continued the worship service by leading songs, then the offering was collected:
- There is a Fountain
- In Christ Alone
After Deacon Joe Gross said a prayer, the gathered sang How Deep the Father’s Love For Us while the plates were passed.
Associate Pastor Brandon Saunders delivered today’s message. This was the next message in multi-part sermon series on the book of 1st Timothy.
