September 1, 2013 AM Worship

Before Pastor Ben delivered a message based on scriptures, members and guests of Vine Street Baptist Church had a time of worship together.

Deacon Betty Jeffries read Psalm 81:1, 10-16, then Worship Pastor Chris Wells led the gathered in songs.

• How Great Thou Art

After a time of hugging necks and greeting one another in fellowship, Pastor Ben made a few announcements

• No service tonight due to the holiday weekend.
• Next Sunday night, VSBC will be with the members of the new church plant, New City Church, for their first public service. We will meet them at their location at 5:00pm
• Cares and concerns of members of the church.

Pastor Ben said a pastoral prayer, then Hebrews 2:10-18 was read by Gary Cook. Wells led some additional songs of worship.

After a prayer led by Deacon Joe Gross, the offering was collected while everyone sang Just As I Am.

During a time of reflection and response, the gathered sang I Need Thee Every Hour, then Pastor Ben closed the service with a benediction reading.
