January 7, 2018 Morning Worship
The very first Sunday of 2018 continued a long stretch of bitterly cold temperatures outside. On the inside, however, members and guests were warmed by both the hard working furnaces and the warmth that comes seeing fellow believers gathered for study, prayer, singing and hearing the Word of God.
The service began when Senior Pastor Spencer Harmon reading Psalm 65 and saying a prayer. Jacob Hatcher played his guitar while Nolan Hodge played his djembe, and together they led everyone as they sang Jesus Messiah. Jacob welcomed everyone to service today and then a time of greeting one another was given.
Spencer brought the fellowship time to a close by going over a few announcements.

After the sermon, Christians participated in the Lord’s Supper, and then everyone stood and sang Come Ye Sinners during a time of reflection.
Spencer closed the service with an invitation for anyone to speak to a pastor after the service about church membership, becoming a Christian, or to discuss today’s sermon. He read a closing scripture and then dismissed the group.
